With the steady decline of many traditional industries such as coal mining in the south of Yorkshire, and with wool losing trade to man-made fibres and far-East imports, Bradford has rapidly diversified to become the home of many successful new industries.
Yorkshire Cottage Bakeries is a fine example of companies succeeding in this much loved county. Many tempting cakes and flapjacks are produced in our modern purpose built factory.
Using traditional English recipes, our modern production plant and state of the art technology enable us to provide our products to consistent high quality that are widely distributed throughout the country.
Our own Quality Control disciplines are supported by HACCP systems which, together with our intensive staff training programmes, ensure that all our products are fresh and delicious. All our output meets international standards, and we rigorously inspect and approved by independent accredited laboratories.
With over 55 products in regular production, and with further additions being created in the close consultation with, and the collaboration of, our customers, we continue our development and look to a bright future.
